My girls and I stayed at the Atlantic Hotel Oceanfront for a long weekend. It was my first time staying there but the location was perfect with a door right out to the boardwalk , a balcony with rocking chairs looking down on the boardwalk (great for watching the sunrise), and a secluded pool that was open until 9 pm. I would absolutely return but not only for the issues I just listed but I have to shoutout to Joanne. You didn’t give me your name so I asked, just so I could post you specifically in my review. You were so very helpful , friendly, and kind. I truly appreciated you and YOU will be the main reason we return. Thank you for making my family’s weekend wonderful!!!

This was such an amazing place to stay in OC. This was our 1st time in OC and the Atlantic Hotel did not disappoint. First it was unbelievably clean, you would see the workers cleaning all day. ( including the OUTSIDE steps with a mop!) I'm one who runs their finger tip on doorframes and window sills and they were spotless!! The bed mattress and box springs had extra care with double zipped covers! 10/10 on cleanliness! Location: was perfect! If you had kids you didn't have to walk far at all to all the amusements. The ocean was a 3 min walk to the shore break. Amazingly they had a wonderful balcony with rocking chairs and lounge chairs that we sat out on at night. My boyfriend would go out at 6am to photograph the sunrise! ( and watch the beach and boardwalk be cleaned!! Which was never very dirty). Behind the hotel was a great, very clean swimming pool, good for little ones as well. And if you are a Dunkin' Donut fan like myself, it was right behind the FREE parking lot the hotel provided. Staff: I can't say enough about them. They were so nice, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They actually took pride in this beautiful hotel. They were always available if you needed assistance in their old fashioned elevator! ( so if you are in a wheelchair this place is still doable). My only small complaint is that the housekeeping is kind of loud in the mornings ( usually starting at 9 am), and I like to sleep late. They use walkie talkies to talk to one another and it is a bit loud. I'm sure I could have mentioned it at the front desk, but I didn't. After all it's vacation at the beach....I should be up early! I give this adorable, charming hotel a 10/10 and when I go back to OC I will definitely stay here and not even look anywhere else. Patron from Pittsburgh

Staying at the Atlantic Hotel is always a wonderful, relaxing time. The location on the boards is perfect for attending festivities during Sunfest or other events at the inlet. The staff is friendly, the rooms are vintage OC and rocking on the deck is a must to enjoy the ocean view and activity on the boards. We have stayed here many times and plan to whenever we come to OC.

This is a historic hotel in an excellent location. Staff were friendly, helpful and downright excellent. Simply some of the best hotel service I have experienced. The property and rooms are clean and well maintained. The location is a premium being literally right on the boardwalk and right next to the amusement district of the boardwalk. Easy access to the beach and an excellent pool. You can literally park your vehicle at the property and enjoy your vacation without moving it again if you choose. Another plus is it is a short, simple drive to Assateague.

Rooms are small and outdated, and bathrooms smaller and more outdated. Wifi is not available in the rooms, only the lobby. We had to relocate because my wife needed to take a work meeting, and needed a private location to do so, the lobby doesn't cut it. Staff is helpful, but can't make up for the lack of modern facilities. Location is right on the boardwalk, but that comes with the disadvantage of crowds and noise.

Beautiful historic hotel. Clean and rooms are beautiful in the historic sense. Nice pool. Right in the heart of the action on the boardwalk. There's a lot of beachfront and a lovely courtyard with a shower. The only downside is that you must always have an employee operate the original historic elevator. But if you can do it, the steps are great exercise.
